There are many ways to consume Cannabis. From traditional smoking to eating edibles. From patches, you wear to tinctures, you place under your tongue.

2. Endocannabinoid System
Cannabinoid receptors, located throughout the body, are part of the endocannabinoid system, which is involved in a variety of physiological processes including appetite, pain-sensation, mood, and memory. Cannabinoid receptors are of a class of cell membrane receptors in the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily.
3. Entourage Effect
The flower is traditionally smoked in a dry pipe, water pipe (bong) or rolled in paper or leaf (joint).

A tincture is alcohol or glycerin-based extract taken orally.
3. Oil
Oil can be smoked in a pipe or vaporizer, mixed in with flower, taken under the tongue or added to food (edibles).
The entourage effect is a proposed mechanism by which cannabis compounds act synergistically to modulate the overall psychoactive effects of the plant, primarily by the action of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
